PURPOSE: To realize the reduction of cost and high efficiency by eletronically dividing the job set of plural pages into plural batches of plural image by every batch is accordance with the number of page images of every batch corresponding to the copying paper housing ability of a both-side printing path. CONSTITUTION: The copying paper housing ability of the both-side printing path of a printing machine 10 is equal to three sheets, but is made a batch both-side printing system capable of printing two sheets per batch based on the capacity of a memory and complicatedness. The page number of a document set is successively electronically divided into plural batches of plural pages by one batch at a time, that is, the job of eight pages is divided into respective pages such as the 1st batches 2, 4, 1 and 3 and the 2nd batches 6, 8, 5 and 7. Printing is performed in such page order as the 1st batches 1 and 3 after completing 2 and 4, and then the 2nd batches 5 and 7 after completing 6 and 8. Thus, both-side printing is efficiently performed while restraining cost rising. |
