PURPOSE:To execute the correct automatic focus adjustment by prohibiting to correct the lens shifting quantity calculated by the lens shifting quantity during the operation when the driving speed of the motor does not come to be constant at the time of the acceleration of the motor, the deceleration of the motor and the driving of the pulse. CONSTITUTION:An AF controller 113 obtains a defocus quantity ¦DELTAL¦ by using the data of the object image from an interface circuit 112, and based on the defocus quantity ¦DELTAL¦ and the data K from a camera controller 111, the calculation of K.¦DELTAL¦=N is executed and the number of the pulse to be detected is calculated by an encoder ENC. The AF controller 113 rotates a motor MO1 in the clockwise direction or in the counterclockwise direction through a motor driver circuit 114 in accordance with the clock in the defocus direction obtained by using the data of the object image. When the driving speed of the motor does not come to be constant at the time of the acceleration of the motor, the deceleration of the motor and the driving of the pulse, the correction of the lens shifting quantity calculated by the lens shifting quantity during the calculation is prohibited. |
