A base register contains data covering the base prices of a large number of articles, the prices being related to factory prices, and together form a base line. At least one parameter register is used for each user, which contains data covering the cost prices to the user in relation to the base line and the required margin. The data are specified for individual articles or groups. At least one transmission register and/or print-out register contains data covering selling prices inclusive or exclusive of value added tax, cost prices, weights, units, supplier numbers etc. for the articles specified in the parameter register, and for the users in question. The data are calculated from those in the base and parameter registers, and from the transmission and/or print-out registers is produced a computer price list and/or a normally printed price list which is sent to the user. - The computer price lists are sent to users by cassettes, diskettes, teleprinter, etc., and, in company with the normally printed price list are updated and sent to the users once a week. Articles are recorded in the base register by numbers related to their categories. They are divided into main groups comprising the two first digits in the article number. The next two digits indicate s ub-group, and further digits relate to the manufacturer number and/or dimensional data. |
