SUPPORTING DEVICE FOR HEATING PIPE

PURPOSE:To provide a supporting device for heating pipes which increases the strength of support metallic fixture themselves and permits easy and efficient replacement work by passing a cooling fluid in the support metallic fixture which supports directly or indirectly the heating pipes so that the fixture is cooled. CONSTITUTION:A pipe plate 2 for supporting heating pipes 1 inserted therethrough is indirectly supported by side walls and supporting members provided beneath said plate. Cooling type support metallic fixture 3 having an inlet 4 and outlet 5 for cooling fluid such as water or air at one end are used as the supporting member. The fixture 3 are penetrated and supported through and by furnace walls 6. Supporting bases 7 are placed longitudinally atop the fixture 3 at a prescribed interval and the plate 2 is placed on the bases 7. The cooling fluid is passed forcibly or natural circulation from the inlet 4 through the fixture 3 to cool the fixture in the above-mentioned constitution. The strength of the fixture 3 themselves in thus increased and the longer life of the fixture and the easier replacement of the fixture 3 are obtd.
