PURPOSE:To correct a complex shading characteristic easily by previously storing a digital value for correcting the shading characteristic of a video signal from a TV camera and reading out said value in accordance with a scanning position to control the gain of an amplifier. CONSTITUTION:An imput signal IN is amplified by a video amplifier 1 in a video amplifier device and a video output OUT is outputted. A shading storage part 3 is connected to the amplifier 1 through a D/A converter 4 and the shading characteristic indicating the relation of the scanning position of the video camera to a white signal output is previously stored in the storage part 3 in accordance with the address. The reading address corresponding to the scanning position of the storage part 3 is supplied by an address counter 2 inputting pulses P with a fixed interval. An output signal from the storage part 3 is converted into an analog signal by a converter 4 and the outputted analog signal controls the gain of the amplifier 1 to correct the complex shading characteristics. |
