PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform automatic detection of damage, by comparing the output of a sensor, which is attached to a rotary shaft with the collected data of experience values, computing the remaining life when deviation is found, and transmitting the result to a warning device when the result is less than a specified value. CONSTITUTION:A stress detecting sensor 5 is attached to a region, which is close to a key 4 that fixes a runner 1 fitted to a rotary shaft 2 by shrinkage and where stress corrosion is liable to occur. A signal caught by the sensor 5 is sent to a receiving part 6. The output from the receiving part 6 is applied to a damage analyzer part 8 and compared with a signal form an output device 7, which transmits the data collected as experience values. When diviation is found, remaining life is computed by a damage analyzing and operating device 9, which is connected to the damage analyzer part 8. When the result becomes less than a specified value, warning is issued to a warning device 10. Thus the degree of the damage is automatically detected highly accurately. |
