PURPOSE:To transmit information with a comparatively simple constitution by communicating a fixed station side with a ground vehicle side mutually by optical beams projected from both transmitters/receivers. CONSTITUTION:A transmitter/receiver 3 having a transmission part consisting of a modulator and a light emitting device and a reception part consisting of a photodetector and demodulator is put on an unmanned carrier 1 travelling while being guided along a previously fixed course 2. On the fixed station side, plural transmitters/receivers having similar constitution as the device 3 are arranged so as to irradiate the whole course 2. Thus, the devices 3, 4 on the fixed and the ground sides can be mutually communicated by optical beams projected from the respective devices 3, 4. |
