PURPOSE:To apply the recording device of a recording and reproducing device for most or important parts of a recording means and to record data different from video easily by superposing a synchronizing signal similar to a synchronizing signal included in a composite video signal on the data signal when recording the data signal. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard 1, a CPU2, a DMA controller 3, an RAM4, a clock generator 5, a synchronizing signal generator 6 etc. are provided in the recording device. Horizontal and vertical synchronizing signals Hs, Vs, composite synchronizing signal including equivalent pulse, rib signal and white level signal for AGC are outputted from this generator 6. An output from the generator 6 is processed by mixers 7, 8, multiplexers 11, 18, etc. When a recording data signal, a synchronizing signal similar to synchronizing signal included in the composite video signal is superposed on the data signal. Parts of recording device are used for important parts, and recording is made while forming an annular recording track on the recording medium. Thus, recording of the data signal is made easy. |
