PURPOSE:To simply install a hydraulic power generator by arranging a rotor at the outer peripheral side of an armature, integrating it with the blades of a water wheel runner, and dipping the generator in coolant, thereby simplifying and reducing the size of the structure. CONSTITUTION:An armature 9 of a generator is secured through stay vanes 5, 6 in a cylindrical water wheel outside casing 4. A rotor 15 of the generator mounted in a cylindrical frame 14 is arranged between the casing 4 and the armature 9. Coolant is filled in the frame 14. The frame 14 is rotatably mounted through water lubricating bearings 16, 17 at the armature 9. The blades 22 of a water wheel runner are provided on the outer periphery of the frame 14. External flowing water is guided to the blades 22 of the runner from an upper pond through an upstream side guide tube 37, an upstream side stay vane 5 and a guide vane 23 to rotate the frame 14 and the rotor 15. Coolant in the frame 14 is circulated by a pump 31 through a heat exchanger 32. |
