<p>PURPOSE:To avoid a too high gear shift ratio when an initial gear shift is set in a high speed running and prevent an excessive engine brake from being exercised, by making it impossible to drive a gear shift actuater for the initial setting a a car speed more than a specific value. CONSTITUTION:To a gear shift control device 300, signals from an engine rotation sensor 301, a car speed sensor 302, a throttle opening sensor 303, a shift position switch 304, a gear shift standard switch 298, an engine cooling water temperature sensor 306, a brake sensor 307, and a starting pressure detecting pressure sensor 321 are input, while signals to a step motor 10 and a force motor 224 are output. At an initial setting routine, the car speed is decided whether it is more than the specific value or not, and if it is more than that, the step motor 110 for the initial setting purpose is not driven so that the gear shift ratio is never changed.</p> |
