PURPOSE:To obtain the connection whereby a push boat and a barge can be integrally moved even if they are sailed in waves on the sea, by providing a run- on part overhung in a ship side direction in the push boat having a power plant part and providing a receiving part in the stern part of the barge so as to support weight of the push boat. CONSTITUTION:A run-on part 17 overhung in a ship side direction is provided in a push boat 15 having a ballast adjusting means 19 of its power plant part. The stern part of a barge provides receiving parts 18 with a recessed part engaging the push boat. The push boat 15, being advanced by operating its ballast means 19 into the recessed part in the stern part of the barge, is connected through the run-on part 17 of the push boat 15 and the receiving parts 18 of the barge so that weight of the push boat may be supported. By this method, construction of safe and sure connection can be obtained by enabling the push boat and the barge to be integrally moved even if they are sailed in waves on the sea. |
