PURPOSE:To economically construct a mooring equipment by providing an elevating float freely separable from a ship to be moored to one of plural support piers erected along both side edges of an offshore ship mooring space. CONSTITUTION:When mooring a slurry transport ship 16 to any one (B in the illustration) of two ship mooring spaces A and B set on offshore sea at a fiven distance from the land, an oil-pressure cylinder 9 on a mooring float 5 externally fitted in a vertically movable manner into one 4 of support piers 2 and 4 positioned on both sides of the mooring space B is extended by an oil-pressure unit 20 on a plat form 13 in such a way as to move the whole of the float 5 to outside, whereby expanding the distance between the fenders 3 and 12. Under the condition, the ship 16 is put in the space B and then the oil-pressure cylinder 9 is moved shrinkingly to enable the ship 16 to be moored between the fenders 3 and 12. Afterwards, a pipe coupler 14 is connected to a manifold 17 and slurry is unloaded. |
