PURPOSE:To hold stably and exactly a blade and to obtain a stable cleaning performance by providing an adhesive layer at a constant distance interval from the tip part contacting to the blade of a holding member. CONSTITUTION:A blade 21 is stuck and fixed to a holding member 23 by a face contacting to an image carrying body through an adhesive layer 24 for forming an adhesive area. Also, the holding member 23 is positioned by a positioning pin 25, and fixed and held with a screw, etc. to an outside frame 26 of a cleaning device 14. In this case, the adhesive layer 24 is not provided on the whole surface of the surface contacting to the blade 21 of the holding member 23, but is formed from the part separated by a prescribed distance (d) from a tip part 23a of the holding member 23. In this way, the adhesion of the blade 21 and the holding member 23 is held uniformly, and it does not occur that the adhesion is peeled off by the force which the blade 21 receives from a drum 1. |
