PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of a transmission device and make it compact, by juxtaposing a motive power cutoff clutch, a high gear clutch, the spring means of a servomechanism and a fluid coupling in the axial direction in the case of the transmission device. CONSTITUTION:A fluid coupling 11, a motive power cutoff clutch 13, a high gear clutch 15 and the diaphragm spring 197 of a servomechanism 19 are juxtaposed in the axial direction in the case 1A of a transmission device so that the axial dimension of the device is decreased and the case of the fluid coupling 11 is also used for the clutches. This results in simplifying the construction of the device and making it compact. |
