PURPOSE:To keep other external lamps such as stop and parking lamps in effect than the headlights during busy traffic or awaiting the signal, by controlling the headlights using outputs from logical circuits of an ahead car sensor and a car speed sensor, and thereby having only the headlights distinguished during such times as mentioned above so as to refrain from bothering other cars. CONSTITUTION:Signal from a signaling device is sensed by a sensor 7 during awaiting the signal to be fed in one of the ports of an AND circuit 51, while signal from a sensor 6 is fed in the other port of said AND circuit 51 when the car has stopped. This circuit 51 puts out an energization current to a relay coil 4, to disconnect a contact 3 for extinguish a light 2. When the car stops temporaily during busy traffic, existence of any car ahead is sensed by another sensor 8, that is put into the other port of said circuit 51, and signal from the sensor 6 is fed into one port of the circuit 51 by the car has stopped to emit the energization current to the coil 4. Now the contact 3 is disconnected to turn off the light 2. During other parking or stopping there is no output from sensors 7, 8, and an eventual output from the sensor 6 due to stop of the car does not lead to any effective output because of lack of two outputs which are required from the circuit 51, so that no energization current is applied to the coil 4 to keep the light 2 unlit. |
