<p>PURPOSE:To carry a copy sheet reliably to the desired position without slippage, by providing ribs having parallel knurling perpendicularly with the advancing direction on a carry belt then supporting the rear edge of copy sheet and pressing against the carry belt. CONSTITUTION:Ribs 18 having parallel knurling are provided on a carry belt 5 perpendicularly with the advancing direction of a copy sheet P to place the rear edge of the copy sheet P between the ribs 18 to bring into such state where the rear edge of copy sheet P is pressed against the carry belt 5 while being supported by the ribs 18. Consequently, upon motion of the carry sheet 5, the rear edge of the copy sheet P is stepped forward by means of the ribs 18 resulting in reliable carrying of copy sheet P even if it is short and hard sheet such as a name card or a post card to the fixing roller 8 without slippage.</p> |
