PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of control of a clutch, by storing the learned value of the point of complete engagement of the clutch in the engaging operation thereof and that of the point of beginning of disengagement of the clutch in the disengaging operation thereof to judge the range of operation of the clutch. CONSTITUTION:The speed and quantity of movement of a clutch 4 are regulated as the duty factors of solenoid valves 71, 73 are controlled. A clutch stroke sensor 6a detects the movement of the piston of a clutch actuator 6 by a potentiometer or the like and sends out a stroke signal. A control unit 10 judges the range of operation of the clutch 4 in terms of the relation between the value of the stroke signal and the actual stroke of the clutch. Since the range of operation of the clutch 4 is set by using the learned values of the point of complete engagement of the clutch and that of beginning of its disengagement, the clutch is controlled with little loss, namely, efficiently. |
