CONSTRUCTION OF SHIP SHELL FOR CARGO HOLD

PURPOSE:To enable a bulk cargo to be supplied to the upper corner part in a hold, by providing tilted parts faced downward toward both ship sides in the bottom corner parts of pipe passages provided in upper both ship side parts of the hold and providing a hollow part in a hatch guarder part in the bottom part of said tilted part. CONSTITUTION:Pipe passages 3 are provided between an upper deck 2 and a middle deck 7 so as to be positioned in both sides of a ship body in its width direction. A bottom corner part of said pipe passage 3 facing to the inside of a hold provides a tilted part 9 so as to be enabled to approximate to a ship shell side toward the bottom direction, and a hatch guarder 10 having a slope with a downgrade toward the center side in the ship body width direction is secured to a bottom face of said tilted part 9. A hollow part 13 for feeding a bulk material to a ship shell side below the pipe passage is provided in the slope of the hatch guarder 10 at a required interval in a longitudinal direction of the ship body. In this way, loading efficiency in the hold 6 can be improved.
