PURPOSE:To improve the mounting property of a transmission device for a vehicle, by juxtaposing a fluid coupling, a motive power cutoff clutch and the spring of a servomechanism, juxtaposing a high gear clutch and a damper in series with the juxtaposed coupling, motive power cutoff clutch and spring, and housing them in a case. CONSTITUTION:A fluid coupling 11, a motive power cutoff clutch 13 and the spring 197 of a servomechanism 19 are juxtaposed. A high gear clutch 15 and a damper 157 for it are also juxtaposed. These juxtaposed assemblies are housed in series with each other in the case 1A of a transmission device so that the axial dimension of the device is shortened. The mounting property of the device for a vehicle is thus improved. |
