PURPOSE:To attain economy and flexibility by constituting a communication bus and a channel module so as to be suited to both line exchange and packet exchange while utilizing the system of decentralized processing in a composite exchange . CONSTITUTION:A time division switch module 1-1, a highway switch 5 and a time division switch module 1-6 are controlled as a channel network in the form of T-S-T to the line exchange taking a general voice signal or the like as an object. The physical line and a call do not correspond to a line requiring the packet exchange by 1:1, a physical line is multiplexed to plural logical channels in the unit of packets in the form of time waiting and used in common. That is, the call is transmitted to the other network processor 2 via a packet bus 4 in general and trasmitted to the line from time division switch modules 1 (1-1-1-n) belonging thereto. |
