PURPOSE:The titled resin composition from which a molding excellent in surface gloss, stress cracking resistance, impact resistance, etc., can be obtained, prepared by polymerizing a monomer mixture comprising an aromatic vinyl compound and a vinyl cyanide compound, while varying the composition of the monomer mixture. CONSTITUTION:A monomer mixture comprising an aromatic vinyl compound and a vinyl cyanide compound is polymerized while the composition of the monomer mixture is varied. At this time, the composition of the monomer mixture is varied so that the total free polymer is 5-100wt%, that the total free polymer contains 1-50wt% polymer component of a vinyl cyanide compound content (hereinafter, abbrevated as a VC content) of 1-10wt%, 5-70wt% polymer component of a VC content of 10-20wt%, 10-90wt% polymer component of a VC content of 20-40wt%, and 0-70wt% polymer component of a VC content >=40wt%, that the total VC content is 10-40wt%, and that a resin of an intrinsic viscosity of 0.1-1.5 may be obtained. |
