PURPOSE:To gather data in a high speed and gather high-resolution data by arranging a microchannel plate and a phosphor and converting the light, which is converted by the phosphor, to an electric pulse signal with a semiconductor detecting device and outputting this pulse signal. CONSTITUTION:An incident radiation is excited to generate light having a wavelength peculiar to the material of a scintillator 11, and this light is made incident to a fiber plate 14, and the weak light is led without loss and is made incident to a photocathode 15. The photocathode 15 and a microchannel plate 16 constitute a short distance electronic lens, and the electron current from the photocathode 15 is made incident to individual channels of the microchannel plate 16 with approximately 1:1 power, and incident electronic are collided and reflected on the wall face and are multiplied repeatedly and are outputted as an electron current to the output end side. By the pulse counter system constitution, a deficiency in sensitivity is compensated by multiplying the electron current in multiplstages by the microchannel plate 16. |
