PURPOSE:To obtain heat-sensitive recording paper having high color forming capacity at a low temp. and excellent in the preservability of a white part and a color forming part, in leuco type heat-sensitive recording paper, by containing a specific compound (Sanol) in a heat-sensitive recording layer. CONSTITUTION:A compound represented by formula I or II (wherein R is an alkyl group, an aryl group or an aralkyl group, R' and R'' are H or an 1-4C alkyl group, R''' is H or an 1-10C alkyl group and Y is an 1-10C alkylen group) is contained in a heat-sensitive layer containing a usual leuco dye and an org. acid for forming a color through the reaction with said leuco dye. The compounding ratio of this compound is set to 2-100pts.wt. to the org. acid. Said heat-sensitive layer is formed by coating an aqueous dispersion, in which said compound is dispersed along with the org. acid, along with a dye dispersion, further, a lubricant and waxes. |
