PURPOSE:To uniformly transfer ink to an ink ribbon, by constituting the titled cassette from an ink cartridge, a transfer roller receiving the supply of the ink from said cartridge and a leveling member for preventing the transfer irregularity of the ink contacted with the transfer roller. CONSTITUTION:A press spring 16 is provided to the outlet from the case of an ink ribbon 13 and constant tension is applied to the part of the ink ribbon 13 issued to the outside from the case. A separator 17 is arranged in the vicinity of a transfer roller 4 to prevent the involution of the ink ribbon 13. In newly starting printing in a printer or in re-starting printing after a certain time is elapsed, ink is excessively adhered to the part, which is contacted with an ink transfer material 6, of the transfer roller 4. When the transfer roller 4 is rotated to a clockwise direction, the ink is leveled by a leveling member 7 and uniformly adhered to the transfer roller 4 to be transferred to the ink ribbon 13. |
