摘要 PURPOSE:To measure accurately a shaft torque with a simple structure even in rotative velocity ''0'' and even from a revolving shaft system or the outside of the system by attaching striped plates, where stripes are formed with transparent parts and opaque parts, to both ends of the shaft and allowing a light emitting device and a moire stripe measuring device to face each other on both sides of these striped plates. CONSTITUTION:Moire stripes are generated by the superposition of regular stripes 11 and 12 of striped plates 7a and 7b. These moire atripes are illuminated by a light emitting device 13 and are observed by a stripe measuring device 14. Positions of moire stripes in the radial direction are correlated to relative rotation positions of striped plates 7a and 7b, and relative rotation positions of striped plates 7a and 7b coincide with the quantity of torsion of a bending part 3, and as the result, moire stripes due to striped plates 7a and 7b are measured to measure the transmission torque of a revolving shaft 2. The moire stripe measuring technique is already established, and the shaft torque is measured surely.
