PURPOSE:To improve responsiveness and to ensure safety by providing a heat- sensitive member perpendicular to the working direction near the opening of a heating cylindrical roller and below a plane including a heat source and thereby allowing to receive accurate heat information. CONSTITUTION:A temperature fuse 11 (a thermistor etc. can also be used) as a heat-sensitive member and lead wires 11a, 11b are provided perpendicularly to the working direction of a heating roller 1 as a cylindrical roller having a heat source and below (direction of gravity) a plane S (a semi-section including the center of the roller) including the heat source 5. Preferably, the heat-sensitive part of the heat-sensitive member 11 is provided in the semicircle of the roller, and more preferably, most of the lead wires 11a, 11b is provided in the semicircle of the roller to enhance responsiveness. |
