<p>1532696 Exercising device MUSEXPORT Ltd 20 Sept 1976 [16 Jan 1976] 01830/76 Heading A6M An exerciser comprises a pair of hand grips 13, relatively slidable rigid guide members (telescopic tubes 16, 17,) connected to the hand grips for guiding movement of the hand grips towards and away from one another and a pair of elastically deformable rods 23 connecting the handgrips so that movement together of the hand grips causes the rods to bend outwards and outward pulling of the rods moves the hand grips together, the rods 23 providing substantially all the resistance to movement of the hand grips towards one another. The rods are preferably of glass fibre reinforced material their ends being pivotally mounted in the hand grips.
