PURPOSE:To attain ease of extension/degeneration in a buffer storage section by providing the buffer storage section having common specification to that of a main storage section to a data bus and an address bus. CONSTITUTION:The buffer storage section 22 having an interface function identical to that of the main storage section 23 is provided and the buffer storage section 22 is connected to buses 24, 25 between the main storage section 23 and a storage control section 21. When a read request exists from an external device to the main storage device 2 via a CPU1, the buffer storage section 22 receives an address of data from the storage control section 21 and compares the address with address information stored in a logging information storage part 21c. When a data exists, it is transferred from the storage part 21a. When not in existence, the data is transferred from the main storage section 23 to the storage control section 21 and also written in the storage part 21a at the same time. |
