PURPOSE:To obtain easily and accurately an inclination angle with respect to the reference plane, by installing a pair of rotating angle detector with its right- angle intersecting oxes and a weight member which is vertical to a pair of rotating oxes and swivelled free to swing only in a plane including its axis. CONSTITUTION:A box body 1 is put on a measuring plane 24 through a pedestal 2. In display units 16, 17, adjustment is so made that an inclination angle is displayed to be 0 by pushing a reset switch. A weight lever 12 swings corresponding to an inclination with respect to the reference horizontal plane of the measuring plane 24 until the lever takes the vertical direction. It is assumed that the plane 24 inclines to the reference horizontal plane 25 through an angle of theta1 on the Y-plane and -theta2 on the X-plane. Then, the lever 12 and swing levers 9, 10 swing on the Y-plane through an angle of theta1. Consequently, a rotating shaft 7 rotates through an angle of theta1 also and from an rotary encoder 5 is issued a signal provided with a mutual angle phase of 90 deg.. By inclination angle of theta1 displayed in the unit 16 and -theta2 displayed in the unit 17, a magnitude of inclination to the plane 25 of the measuring plane 24 can be obtained in a quantitative manner. |
