The trestle is characterised in that it comprises: - two elongate panels A, B of identical width and of adjustable length; - a hinge 15 joining two of the transverse ends of the panels, which form a supporting head; - feet 13 for support on the ground, projecting from the free transverse ends opposite the hinge; - at least one adjustable spacer element 18 connecting the said panels between the hinge and the support feet.
