PURPOSE:To facilitate assembly and improve the reliability of a motor by a method wherein brackets are subjected to a burring process to be expanded into bolt holes while a gap between a stator and a rotor is adjusted. CONSTITUTION:A stator 1 is composed of laminated steel plates and bracket 2 are attached to both ends by overlapping. Bolt holes 3 are provided to the periphery of the stator 1 and parts of the brackets 2 are expanded into the bolt holes 3 by punches 4 of a burring process. While a gap between the stator 1 and a rotor 7 is adjusted by a gap adjusting means 10, punches 4 are pressed into the burred parts 5 of the brackets 2. The relative position between the stator 1 and the brackets 2 is determined by coupling the brackets 2 with the bolt holes 3 by the punches 4 of the burring process. |
