PURPOSE:To contrive to reduce size and to enhance maintainability, by a method wherein at least one of two guides for a transfer recording material is provided below a discharging tray into which the transfer recording material recorded with an image is discharged, in an imageforming device wherein a transfer recording paper is reciprocated and a trasferring action is repeated. CONSTITUTION:A paper P is wound around a platen 10 through the first distributing guide 25, and heating elements in a thermal head 11 are operated to generate heat in accordance with image information, whereby an ink 21 of a thermal transfer ribbon 15 is transferred onto the paper P. The leading end of the paper P passed through the platen 10 part is fed by the second distributing guide 26 onto the first guide 23 provided on the lower side of the paper-discharging tray 22. The paper P with an image transferred thereto in a color ink is reversely fed by reversely rotating the platen 10, and is fed onto a guide 24 provided on the lower side of the guide 23 by a rotational displacement of the guide 25. Accordingly, images in plural colors can be transferred onto the paper P by directing the paper P to a rotary transferring part 31 plural times by reciprocating it plural times. |
