PURPOSE:To provide possibility of automatic carrying-in of works to be machined, by holding works with special shape stably, and by setting the work into a chucking device of processing machine with its held attitude retained. CONSTITUTION:The external end-face of a work to be processed W, which is transferred from a chute onto a specified feed position is put in engagement with a detent pawl 8 and takes an attitude to be carried into a chucking device 3 of the processing machine. With this attitude held, a moving member 1 is shifted to the position of device 3, and now an actuator 12 will advance a pusher 10. This advance of pusher 10 will set a guide pin 11 in a hole provided in said work W, and the work W advances and a plunger 9 opens the abovementioned closed pawl 8 to intrude to the reference surface of the device 3. Now the work W is grasped by the chuck nails. Thus automatic carrying-in is accomplished. |
