Method of manufacturing a shoe sole, during which a first part 7 of the sole is moulded by making a recess in one of its faces, this recess extending approximately across the said first part 7 of the sole towards it other face; a second part 13 of the sole is moulded onto the said first part 7 of the sole, so as to form a projection 8 from the second part 13, extending over practically the entire thickness of the first part 7 of the sole; and that portion of the first part 7 covering the said projection 8 is removed in order to expose this projection 8. <IMAGE>
