PURPOSE:To make a weather strip for corner use manufacturable so suitable for mass production in an inexpensive manner as well as a core takeout hole closable speedily and accurately, by molding a block piece solidly with the weather strip for a corner of a body opening part in adjoining to the core takeout hole in time of molding. CONSTITUTION:A weather strip 6 for corner use is made up of setting up a core 4 inside a cavity 3 between an upper metal mold 1 and a lower metal mold 2, while a molding material is poured in from an injection hole under high pressure and molded and vulcanized into shape. At this time, in adjoining to a takeout hole 7 of the core 4, a core takeout block piece 9 is solidly molded with the weather strip 6. With this constitution, after molding, the block piece 9 can be inserted into the core takeout hole 7 so speedily in a state of being centered right after the core 4 is taken out. |
