In the two mutually parallel side walls (SW1, SW2) of a magazine, a multiplicity of insertion planes for printed circuit boards and/or flat modules are defined by grooves (N) assigned to one another in pairs. For automatic securing of the position of an inserted printed circuit board or flat module, each insertion plane is assigned a separate securing member, each securing member being separately releasable for the automatic loading and unloading of the magazine, whereas the securing members of all the insertion planes can be released together by a manually operable opening element for manual loading and unloading. Locking mechanisms (G1), the locking catches (K1) of which are provided with locking edges (SS), are preferably provided as securing members. For releasing the locking mechanisms (G1) together, preferably an operating slide (B) which can be pushed over all the catches (K1) of a magazine is provided. <IMAGE>
