HEAT-EXCHANGING AND VENTILATING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To make compact and simplify the titled device, by providing a combined function of fan and sensible heat exchanger by means of a disc-like impeller made of impervious corrugated partition plates. CONSTITUTION:An outer and an inner supporting plates 17 and 18 which serve to support a blade 19 also blind plates segregating two different air streams passing along opposite sides of impeller 10. The rotation of impeller 10 produces two different air streams A and B respectively in grooves 21 and 22 formed in opposite sides thereof. These two air streams are withdrawn into a casing 14 through their respective air suction ports defined in the central portion of casing 14. These air streams then enter into a cylindrical counter flow heat exchanger 13 through opposite sides of rotary axial direction of heat exchanger for their subsequential sensible heat exchange. Then, the air streams exits from the outer periphery of counter flow heat exchanger 13 and have their temperatures exchanged during passage through the blade 19 of impeller 10. Finally, the airs are exhausted outside the casing 8 through respective outlets difined in the outer periphery of casing 14.
