PURPOSE:To exchange geothermal heat without affection on a pipe, by utilizing a concrete foundation pile. CONSTITUTION:A concentric hole 2A is formed in a factory-produced concrete pile 2 which is driven in the ground 7 as the foundation of a building. The lower end of the pile is closed. The geothermal heat around the pile is used as a heating source of a heat pump. For this purpose, a U-shaped heat exchanger pipe 3 is inserted in the concentric hole 2A, and it is used as a heat exchanger by circulating a heating medium through the pipe. The gap between the concentric hole and the heat exchanger pipe 3 is filled with some suitable material 4 which has high heat transfer rate. |
