PURPOSE:To improve lateral rigidity, steering stability under high speed run and steering responsibility by providing a steel cord reinforcing layer extending from a bead part to a specified height and a fiber reinforcing layer extending therefrom to another specified height. CONSTITUTION:A steel cord reinforcing layer 6 is laid such that it is partially lapped on a fold-back part 3a and has the lower part 6a positioned in the vicinity of a bead wire 2 and the upper end 6b of the height H2 occupying the proportion ranging from 30 to 70% of the tyre height H0. A fiber cord reinforcing layer 7 made of nylon or the like is laid at the outside of said layer 6 such that it has the upper end 7b of a height H1 which is within the range from 40 and 90% of the tyre height H0 and is 1.2 to 1.5 times as great as the height H2 of the upper end of the steel cord reinforcing layer 6. The tyre may obtain the smoothly reducing rigidity from the bead part to a buttless part via a side-all part, hence improving the steering stability under high-speed run and the steering responsibility. |
