PURPOSE:To atomize fuel, by a method wherein the forward end of a cylindrical nozzle is closed, a projecting slanted part is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the forward end, and when the fuel is injected in a thread like manner through a plurality of fuel flow-out passages, an air flow, simultaneously, is caused to cross the fuel at right angles. CONSTITUTION:Two types of fuels, supplied through fuel passages 2 and 2' for fuel installed along the direction of an axis at the inside of a cylindrical nozzle 1, are injected in a thread like manner through a plurality of fuel flow-out passages 4 and 4', which have the forward end blocked with a projecting part 3 and are formed facing on the about identical periphery of a projecting slanted part, and cross the flow of the air fed from the inside 5 of a cylinder about at right angles and are split in a spray manner for atomization. The fuel, adhered to the inner wall surface of the nozzle, is raised in a film manner along projecting slanted parts 6, 6', and 6'', makes contact with the air flow at the top part, and are split in a film manner and atomized for combustion. C heavey oil, which is hard to atomize by means of a low pressure air, can be excellently burnt by a geometrical effect with atomization by expansion of water, making contact with oil, and a water gas reaction without generation of black smoke simultaneously with emulsion combustion. |
