Flexible, leaf-like element (1) for additional installation into the holding frame (3) of a flexible door panel (4), the element (1) and the door panel (4) being clamped and pressed against one another by the holding frame. The element (1) consists of a resilient plate, preferably made of glass fibre-reinforced epoxy resin, and its area has approximately the form of a right-angled triangle or right-angled trapezium. In the case of large door panels, the cross-section of the leaf element (1) can be designed conically perpendicularly to the clamping edge. <IMAGE>
