PURPOSE:To achieve quick cooling of an air conditioner having a cooler by cooling down air which passes through an evaporator so as to supply it having the temperature most suitable for giving comfortableness to a human body from a supply opening while supplying the other not-cooled air toward the legs, rear seats, defroster and so on. CONSTITUTION:When a temperature control lever 21 is set to the cooling-down position, a damper 44 opens the inlet of the primary air passage 31 to the specified degree together with the inlet of the secondary air passage 32, a damper 45 closes a warmed-air passage 39 and opens an air entry port 36A, and a damper 46 opens the air entry port 38A of a defroster communication duct 38. A water valve is, at the same time, opened fully. Air is therefore divided at an appropriately proportion to flow toward the primary and secondary air passages 21 and 22. When a supply mode is set into the ''VENT'' position, some cool air having the velocity and temperature at which the human body feels most comfortable is blown from a ventilation supply opening 34B, while the other cool air passes through a heater 42 and is blown from a foot-range air supply opening 36B. Comfortableness is therefore improved. |
