The invention relates to a coin-operated dispensing device for products or tokens for services, having a data memory, in which the sales prices and the other data for the functioning of the dispensing device activatable by means of a customer keyboard are stored, and a further data memory for the operating and sales data of the dispensing device, which, safeguarded against unauthorised call-up, can be indicated on an indicator device. To make it possible to do without a separate indicator device and a change-over device inside the dispensing device, the operating and sales data stored in the second data memory, after a code has been entered by means of the customer keyboard, are indicated on the customer indicator used for the sales transaction.
