Temperature-indicating coating agent having metallic particles, the temperature indication of which consists in that they melt and thus change their foliated structure into a spherical structure. In the process, the optical image changes from a matt finish or even bright metallic, gloss of the coated point into a point with only a few melt beads so small as to be barely perceptible.
