PURPOSE:To stably maintain a toner concn. by suppressing the fluctuation of the toner concn. and the vibration of a developing unit. CONSTITUTION:This image forming device has a subtraction circuit 403 which calculates the difference (deviation e) between the target value SP of the toner concn. outputted from a control section and a toner concn. sensor 309, a correction factor calculating circuit 404 which calculates a toner correction factor from the deviation e calculated by the subtraction circuit 403, a multiplication circuit 405 which calculates a toner replenishing amt. by multiplying the toner consumption (predicted value) outputted from the control section and the toner correction factor, a ring buffer 406 which stores the toner replenishing amt. calculated from the multiplication circuit 405, and a PI controller 401 which controls the driving of an electromagnetic clutch driving circuit 402 in accordance with the deviation e outputted from the subtraction circuit 403 or the toner replenishing amt. stored in the ring buffer 406. |
