The invention relates to a damping holder, especially for pipelines having a large diameter and a small wall thickness, which are subjected to high temperatures and static and dynamic stresses.
<??>The holder is preferably inserted between an essentially stiff collar and the wall of a pipeline, the damping holder preferably being constructed in an annular shape. The holder according to the invention provides a large number of elastic reactions and, in the case of oscillations, also spacers which cause a damping action. Furthermore, at least two sheet-metal foils (153, 154), located one above the other, are preferably provided, of which at least one sheet-metal foil has projections or corrugations, as a result of which it can rest on the adjacent sheet-metal foil and can slide thereon.
<??>According to one preferred embodiment, corrugated strips (154), preferably consisting of fine sheet metal, and smooth sheet-metal strips (154) are arranged alternately one above the other.
