The invention relates to a multi-channel measurement-value processing system comprising fibre-optical analog measurement-variable pick-ups as measurement converters, a hybrid microprocessor-controlled measurement field concentrator and an optical-fibre cable for the bit-serial and time-division-multiplex transmission to a central station. During the bidirectional exchange of data, the measurement- variable pick-ups are also parameterised and diagnosed and actuators are driven via the optical-fibre cable. The invention is applied in multi-channel fibre-optical measurement-value transmission systems. <IMAGE>
