摘要

Monoclonal antibodies 703D4 and 704A1 detect human non-small cell lung cancer (non-SCLC) and differentiate non-SCLC from all other types of lung cancer and normal tissue cells. These two antibodies can be used in the form of a kit for distinguishing non-SCLC from other forms of lung cancer. These monoclonal antibodies bind to S35 methionine-incorporating protein doublets under reducing and non-reducing conditions. The determinants of these antibodies which are bound to the 31 kilodalton protein are independent of each other, as determined in a radio-labelled competition test.
