<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a piezoelectric structure with stable electric characteristics without requiring complicated processes by a method wherein a piezoelectric material undergoes a polarization process in an atmosphere of 60-90 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric material 4 of lead titanate and zirconate system is kept in an atmosphere of 60-90 deg.C until the temperature of the inside of the piezoelectric structure becomes the same as that of the atmosphere. Then, the material is polarized in the atmosphere by applying direct current of 1.0-4.0kV/mm. A shape of a pipe with 0.5-5mm of diameter, 5-20mm of length, less than 2mm of thickness is desirable for the shape of the piezoelectric structure 4. Electrodes 5 and 6 are formed on the inside and outside surfaces of it with plating, and a lead wire 7 is connected to each electrode so as to polarize it by applying direct current voltage between the electrodes, thereby making it possible to obtain a piezoelectric structure with stable characteristics without dipping the piezoelectric material into an insulative material such as oil at all.</p> |
