PURPOSE:To control the thickness of capsule shell as desired when a hydrophobic core material is covered by polycondensing a material for forming hydrophilic aldehyde resin contained in water by incorporating initial condensation product of hydrophobic aldehyde resin in the core material. CONSTITUTION:A hydrophobic core material is covered by causing polycondensation of materials for forming hydrophilic aldehyde resin (e.g. amines and aldehydes and/or initial condensation product of aminoaldehyde resin). In the process for prepg. microcapsules therefrom, hydrophobic initial condensation product of aldehyde resin (e.g. alkylated product of initial condensation product of aminoaldehyde resin) is incorporated into the above described hydrophobic core material. As the result, capsules having superior preservability for the core material are prepd. with high efficiency while controlling the thickness of the capsule shell as desired. |
